precious opal is bonded to a dark backing, and comes in
a variety of colours.

with a clear domed cap
bonded to the top of the
opal which has a magnifying effect.

It
is not recommended to wear your doublet opal jewellery
in the shower or swimming as the water may affect the
cement that holds the opal to the backing.
